If you have unwanted clutter that is just too good to go to your local landfill site but you don't really want to go to the bother of trying to sell it, well, why not offer it to somebody in your local community; for free.

Cheslyn
Hay Freeworld-Recycling
Cheslyn Hay Freeworld covers the villages of Cheslyn Hay, Great Wyrley, Landywood, Churchbridge, Wedges Mills, Saredon, Shareshill, Featherstone and Essington all in South Staffordshire.
"This site has changed name from the original Freecycle designation to "Waste not want not Andover". ONLY THE NAME HAS CHANGED but this independant recycling group will operate in much the same way as before. Hopefully it will be a change for the better and a more informal improved site and better comunity. Hoping to have a helping service as well in a few weeks when I work out the details. This group is happily affiliated now with Freesharing.org . This group is open to people who physically live WITHIN A 25 MILE RADIUS OF ANDOVER.( Not just work/ relatives here) who want items they no longer want a new home rather than throw it away into landfill. Whether it's a Tv,an old shed, fridge freezer, this is the place to post it and give it a new lease of life. NO CAR BOOTERS/ RESELLERS/DEALERS please. Everything posted must be free and legal. We are a Nonprofit group, a group of people interested in keeping good stuff out of landfill. OUR FOCUS IS to keep stuff stuff from out of dump so it can have a new lease of life with someone else. THIS IS A GREED FREE ZONE."
We also have some groups that are more community chat based that you may like to consider joining. Some are fairly local so probably of more interest to a specific geographical area or interest.
A Yahoo Group based club dedicated to gardening. All are welcome to join though there is an emphasis on the Telford, Shropshire area which is more to do with the areas climate etc. Whether you are beginner to gardening or you have green arms and legs as well as fingers you are most welcome to join.
The Little Green Cafe is a community based discussion group mainly intended for Walsall and Cheslyn Hay Freeworld-Recycling group's members. It is a place to discuss pretty much anything you wish. If you need advice or want to know the name of a good and reliable local builder or service then this is the place to ask. We've been able to find solutions to such diverse things as getting hold of a digital camera manual online to finding a good handyman local to our region.
Want to form your own group?
If you are interested in setting up your own group based on any of the above please get in touch and we will help you out to the best of our ability. All we ask that is that you don't create rival groups. We are all only interested in helping our local communities. We are not in competition with anybody or any other network. You do not have to rename your group unless you want to or have to for quasi legal reasons and even then you do not have to call yourself a 'Freeworld-Recycling' group. We are simply trying to offer anybody who is searching for a local recycling network a simple directory so that they can make their own decision. That's why we are 'Freeworld'.
